K Masood: President/CEO

Mr. Masood has over 22 years of hands-on development and management experience with many of the well respected high-tech companies in Silicon Valley including: Burroughs, Unisys, Ford Aerospace, Loral/Lockheed Martin, NEC, Fujitsu, Network Peripherals, Silicon Graphics, Niksun. Mr. Masood has been responsible for: Aug ’02: CEO, Founder, founded intelop corporation that develops Silicon IP and provides engineering and development services. Sep.’00: VP of Development, started a new group that grew to 18 people, of Hardware and Software developers in CA, for Niksun, a NJ based company and lead/managed the team to successfully develop the first ATM/POS OC-12/48 line of boards that could monitor, capture and analyze Network traffic at 2.4-Giga bit rate. Sep. ’97: Principal Chip architect, lead a team of chip design/verification and firmware engineers to successfully develop a line of ‘Bridge chips/chipset’ for NEC’s high end MIPs RISC processors. Developed first chipset that included design and integration of 11 functional/IP blocks and a complete MAC core for 1G & 100 Mb Ethernet. Proposed to Motorola, won and successfully lead the development of the bridge chip being used in their Set-top box (DCT-5000, a 10M unit chip volume). Developing the first Chipset with integrated 133 MHz SDRAM , SRAM/133 MHz, RISC-CPU interface and a 64-bit/66 MHz PCI controller. Developed the first 3-D graphics architecture and board that utilized, four graphics processors in parallel simultaneously. Mr. Masood, previously did, hands on development of several leading edge computing systems, ASICs, SOCs that include: Fast-Ethernet switches and hubs, FDDI Network Interface cards, several multi-processing hardware boards, 3D graphics and Imaging subsystems capable of processing at high frame rates and driving multiple Ultra-high resolution (2K x 2.5) monitors. Mr. Masood has BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, TX. He has filed Patents with 20 claims in Network security and patents in Ultra-fast parallel processing.

 


Dr. Eric Wilson: Vice President, Engineering

Dr. Eric Wilson is the Vice-President of Product Development. He has also served as the company's COO. Eric has held a number of executive positions in both private and public sector businesses. Before intelop, Eric was Director, Network and Internet Appliance Engineering at Web Group, where he led the design of Web’s data and voice network infrastructure and also ensured that emerging Internet appliances would be able to access the Web website. Before Web, Eric spent 10 years at Level-3, where he held senior management positions within Level-3’s Business Infrastructure Services group. At HP, Eric was responsible for identifying business and information technology trends and developing an IT infrastructure strategy that could support company’s business objectives. Eric's engineering career has seen him provide impact strategies and products across a range of networking technologies including: Network Security; Web Switching and Content Networking Infrastructure; Multimedia Networking; Wireless Networks; and Voice over IP (VoIP), Quality of Service (QoS), LAN, WAN and Remote Access. Eric has successfully partnered with a "who's who" of leading network equipment vendors and service providers, resulting in the development of innovative products and essential enterprise network services. Eric has personally been involved in product development activities resulting in patents and industry recognition for product development. Dr. Wilson's experience and recognition in industry has lead to his serving as an expert witness in a number of legal cases. Dr. Wilson has a B.S. Computer Science (Highest Distinction), M.S. degree and a Ph.D. in Mathmatics from University of Chicago, Ill

 
Jauher Zaidi: Chairman Advisory Board

Jauher brings over twenty years of experience in system design and integration. He has been both a director and the Chief Executive Officer of Palmchip since the Company’s inception. Before founding Palmchip in 1996, he was involved in SOC integration at Quantum Corporation, where he managed the ASIC Group. He also led the single-chip I/O and disk controller ASIC design projects, using co-simulation at Unisys, Amdahl and Samsung. Jauher received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Pacific States University in Los Angeles, California. He has written and presented a number of articles and papers on SOC design and verification. He has also participated in many system-on-chip panels and is a recognized expert in the area of SOC development. He Holds several patents on SoC Technology.
